Channel 4 Rebrand
Found Studio - 2023
Role - Animation, Lookdev, R&D

Working closely with Pentagram and 4creative, Found Studio designed the motion system and broadcast package for Channel 4’s new masterbrand. The bold and playful visual identity system brings all its channels, collections and content together under one roof for the first time.

Motion System

Motion is an integral part of the new identity due to Channel 4 primarily working with moving-image.
Channel 4 must communicate its brand through media that are, by nature, kinetic. This is where the concept of motion design comes into play, serving as a key element of the new brand identity.

Application

To create a unique viewing experience, the Channel 4 logo moves through more than sixty gradients across the various platforms. The colour combinations maximise variation across each brand touchpoint to further enhance the ‘Altogether Different’ idea.

The fourth screen displays a woman in a school uniform with crossed arms.
